03/26 Beginner Mahj 2.0 Open Play

Ready for the next step in your Mahj journey? This session is for you!

This class is designed for those new to Mahjong who have completed a beginner lesson at Love of Character or on their own, but are looking for more guidance.

Our Mahjong coordinator will build on the American Mahjong basics and guide guests through deeper game play, strategy, and confidence at the table. We’ll review the Charleston, choosing a hand, reading the NMJL card more efficiently, and guided play.

If you have an NMJL card, please bring it with you. If you are still getting comfortable, that’s okay — this session is designed to help you feel more confident and capable during open play. Come with questions and get ready for another fun afternoon of Mahj! 💚
